There are many reasons to visit Mumbai, India. These reasons range from natural beauty to history, and plenty in-between.
While it would be wise to visit every site this city has to offer, if you're more interested in history, there are three places you must visit. The first is the Gateway of India, built in 1911 to honor the visit of King George and Queen Mary. The second is the Mani Bhawan, the former Ghandi residence and memorial. The third is the Prince of Wales Museum, built in 1914, and filled with art, old firearms, rare coins, and sculptures.
If you prefer scenery, consider staring with Marine Drive, then working your way to the upscale Juhu Beach. You can end your day by watching a beautiful sunset over the Arabian Sea at Hanging Gardens.
